Dallas Interconnected Growers (DIG) Summit 2026
Cultivating Local Food Systems
October 19, 2026 | University of North Texas at Dallas
The Dallas Interconnected Growers (DIG) Summit is where the people growing, supporting, studying, and strengthening our local food system come together. Join more than 250 farmers, ranchers, urban growers, gardeners, educators, researchers, nonprofit organizations, government partners, funders, filmmakers, consumers, and community leaders for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration.
This year’s theme, Cultivating Local Food Systems, invites participants to explore how collaboration can build healthier communities and a more resilient regional food economy. Hear from keynote speaker Reginaldo Haslett-Marroquin, participate in educational sessions led by experienced practitioners, and engage in conversations that challenge conventional thinking and inspire practical solutions.
Whether you’re growing food in a backyard, managing a commercial farm, conducting research, shaping policy, or supporting local agriculture in another way, you’ll find opportunities to learn from others, share your experiences, and build lasting relationships.
Together, we’ll explore the challenges facing North Texas food systems, celebrate innovative work happening across our region, and cultivate the partnerships needed to create a stronger, more connected future for local food.
